Fantasic way of of telling a interesting story by introducing different characters throughout. Great comparrison of the size of the fish to Lucy as it helped me to build an image of how big the fish really was. Good use of puncuation to bring the story to life however I would have loved to know more about the church therefore you could have added a few more adjectives to describe it :)

A blog article from Clare and Gareth Powell of Kip McGrath Scunthorpe about Michael Gove's view of school governors. It was interesting to see that he then stated that he was only talking about a minority when he claimed governors to be "local worthies" who didn't care about the school and it's pupils and saw it as a "badge of status" He clarified by stating “Discussions that ramble on about peripheral issues, influenced by fads and anecdote, not facts and analysis. A failure to be rigorous about performance."
It was obviously let down by his own anecdotal evidence that governors are "local worthies"
Again a common thread of Michael Gove, let's hold education and schools to a higher criteria that he himself cannot match.

I agree, obtaining work experience will make a significant impact on a person future, but I do not understand what is considered to be “good” work experience. Although some teens may rely on their parents network for a job opportunity it is still experience that the individual will gain. Gaining experience through social/work networks will not only give the teen a chance to gain valuable work experience but also help expand their own network for the future. Does it matter how one gained their work experience as long as it is obtained? It may be considered an unfair advantage when teens use their parents network to help advance but isn’t that what a network is built for, a support. I believe, that work experience is equally important as having a good network. It is important to seize the opportunity to gain work experience for transferable skills and understand the job market. When an individual is gaining work experience he/she will develop a network in the process to help advance forward which will once again give an unfair advantage.
